As putea scrie pana maine despre designul noului Lancer Compact Sport Sedan, dar o sa las mai degraba galeria foto sa vorbeasca de la sine. Atat pentru exterior, cat si pentru interior (pe care il veti regasi din pacate in mare parte din imagini de la producator, din cauza unui mic accident cu cardul pe care stocasem seria de fotografii respective...).
Voi spune totusi ca noul Lancer este la trei ani lumina de designul precedentei generatii si ca aminteste putin din frumusetea devenita deja clasica a generatiei '90. Depasind-o si pe aceea, insa. Pur si simplu aceasta masina arata superb, reusind sa imbine perfect agresivitatea partii frontale cu o fluiditatea siluetei laterale. Bestia si frumoasa intr-un singur trup.
O prezenta care impune, atat in parcare, cat mai ales atunci cand o vezi in oglinda retrovizoare pe autostrada. Reusita japonezilor le face cinste, ei reusind sa capteze perfect imaginea visata de amatorii de sedanuri sport.
Am avut la test motorizarea diesel de 140 de cai, precum si echiparea superioara numita Instyle, adica tot ce poate oferi mai bun actualul Lancer Sports Sedan, cel putin in versiunea sa 'normala'. Ralliart si Evo, mai incolo :). Asadar...

Review of the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Sport Sedan 1.8 DI-D (150PS)
I've just bought a Mitsubishi Lancer Sport Sedan with a 1.8 diesel engine in Europe. I thought I could share a few thoughts about it:
The bodywork of the car is the same as you get with the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart or Evo X (excluding the rear spoiler). The one and only annoying fault of it, is that when you are getting out from the car, you can't avoid touching the side spoilers (under the doors) with your pants, which after a muddy/dirty ride can be pretty nasty.
The second fault are the windshield wipers, which leave an empty zone on the lower-left part of the windshield, from which the water and dirt keeps flowing on the glass.
The positive ones: the steering is epic, so is the ride (and I had quite a few cars - volvo xc70, renault megane sport, nissan x-trail, seat alhambra, and I drove a few more on longer distances too). The suspension in the corners is stiff enough, but going through a speed bump doesn't seems to be a problem as well..
The engine is the newest from Mitsubishi, it produces 150 PS, and under 130-140 km/h the fuel consumption doesn't exceeds 5-5.5l/100km.
The quality of the plastics and housings used in the car isn't so good as in the german models, but it's enough.
On low revs, the diesel engine causes a low noise, which sometimes vibrates the plastics...
All in all, I would give 8.5/9 out of ten.
I've compared it with the Audi 2.0 TDI, BMW 320, and I've decided over this one, because of the good engine, low fuel consumtion, better suspension-brake package and very low pricing.
It cost me around 20.000 euro.
Locuind in judetul Covasna (drumurile nu-s tocmai bune), inca nu am reusit sa-l lovesc +la reprezentanta mi-au dat gratis un scut protector din otel, care protejeaza motorul si suspensia.
